I wasn't patient enough to wait until there was more to read because A I was just too excited that Shuri was getting her own storyline to wait and B I want a copy of each individual covers.

So now I want more of this awesomeness and I have to wait more than two seconds for the next installment. Life's so hard I didnt find the story overly amazing.

I also found the art a little too simple, especially the faces of each character. Solid and I can guess where its going but probably wont continue.

Little Sister? I believe that the series is set after the Black Panther movie. First, beautiful cover art by Sam Spratt.

But Shuri is a scientist. She believes her brother will return. This is the first book in a series about Shuri. It is basically just reminiscing about the Little Sister?

It is basically just reminiscing about the past that led up to her becoming the Panther. There are no fights and there is no action in this story.

The art style is fun while still looking like classic comics, the colors are rich, and the story is already off to a fresh start.

A promising start! This might be the incentive I need to go catch up on the other Black Panther books - but I felt that I could jump into this story without having read the previous arcs, even the ones referenced.

I love Dr Okorafor's writing so I think the storyline for these graphic novels will also be great and informative into African tradition and fantasy.

So, a separate comic book run for her is a pretty logical thing. Unfortunately, like the main Black Panter run, this one kind of sucks First of all, I seriously disliked artwork here.

The small details look absolutely ugly and there's something displeasing about the colors. But the worst thing is - this issue is like a big waste of time.

I know that it's just the beginning but it's boring as I me Thanks to Letitia Wright , there's a new wave of interest into Shuri now.

I mean With nothing else! And, of course, even though this one doesn't feel as stupid as Black Panther yet?
