This one is darker and I do believe we are all going deeper into the rabbit hole. The growing up of the characters and cast, I can only imagine how Ok so let me first say I love JLaw, I think she was amazing in a Winters Bone and her portrayal of Katniss in the first movie was pretty spot on and yes I have read the books , BUT I have to say she was far from great in this movie, there were bits that her acting was so off the mark it wasn't funny, it was as if she was trying too hard.
A perfect example I have issues with books being split into 2 movies,The last movie stooped suddenly so for I was tense waiting for this one to finish suddenly as well.
Full review. With measure and muscle, Lawrences Jennifer and Francis nail the job of selling the long, twisting road towards revolution. The special effects are limp and the script a little creaky, although somehow it still manages to thrill.
The drama and tone are powerful and effective and Lawrence makes an exceptionally charismatic heroine, but an almost total lack of action means this is less catching fire than treading water.
