What seems to have just worked for me was to : 1. So, the key is to download these two apps from the Amazon App store instead of the Google Play store, then you will be able to watch Amazon Prime Instant Video on your Android tablet.
Good luck. This method worked on the openhour media player perfectly. Not the best quality but far better than no access at all. Works on Samsung If it asks you to add Silverlight.
I have a galaxy tab 4 and this worked great. The second set of instructions worked fine for me. Thanks for the workaround! Amazon needs to get their crap together and let us just enjoy the content were subscribe to.
And if they want us using their fire devices over others, they need to improve them. I purchased my fire when they first were released and upgraded to each new generation.
Finally, after getting a Moto X and seeing how much better other Androids run, I made the switch from my fire hdx tablet to the galaxy. I followed all of the instructions and when I tap the play button I get a pop up at the bottom of my screen that says lastest version of flash player is required to play this content.
When I click install, I get an error message saying something about nook security. Help please. You can also sideload the regular Amazon App for phones and use it that way.
One last thing: In the past, the Dolphin workaround worked for the Nooks even if you left the user agent set to Android. Works on Galaxy note I then use chrome cast to cast the entire screen to the tv and works great.
I have followed all the instructions and have set this up exactly how you have. I can not get the videos to play. Security blocked app not obtained from Nook App Store.
You should look in the special addendum for instructions for the Nook HD. I did all the tricks and the prime movie started to connect but then screen went dark and never came back.
For some reason the player is temporarily not working with Dolphin browser. It was working for me. I have followed all instructions and gotten past the silverlight install pop-up.
I was so excited to find a way to stream Prime! I have no idea what means. Any suggestions? In this case I think it means that there was a problem in downloading the file.
I was having issues with Dolphin Browser and updated it. Do you want to install it now? I tried uninstalling the browser plugin and reinstalling, rebooting but this still will not fix the issue.
I double checked my setting on Dolphin set to Desktop and Flash is always on. This would bring up the amazon instant video like it was going to play, but then it never actually loads or plays the video.
Basically they are slandering Samsung products by stating it is the device, however it is not, it is their useless app.
